Chapter Seven

Two days passed before the group was ready to go on their mission into the compound. Tensions seemed to have died down a bit from earlier. Thanks to Natale, a weak link was found in the loading/docking bay. It would be the only way the group could get in undetected.
Dusk was ending and the sun had painted the dirt road a bright orange color. Stars had just began to peek out through the atmosphere. After hijacking an outside company's laboratory supply truck, Arron managed to dock the truck's back end into the compound's loading door successfully. Garth was forced to stay back at Lakota's cabin with the proper meds to keep his condition from escalating. The others however were cramped in boxes that had previously carried beakers, syringes and thermometers in the back of the truck.

Thankfully, the station man working the last shift of the day wasn't paying much attention when he signed off on the delivery slip and let Arron pass through. He had assisted in transporting the boxes carrying Arron's comrades and had just left them in the docking storage corner. The station worker, trusting the wolf in disguise, waved him off and left the area to visit the restroom(how convenient for our group no less). The wolves wouldn't move until their boxes were opened by Arron.

Mercie was feeling especially cramped and just a bit panicked tucked away in her box. The bumpy ride had made the top of her head and bottom hurt and she couldn't wait to breath clean air.

Lakota groaned silently to herself and leaned against the box. Not that she had much room to do anything, seeing as she was one of the biggest wolves in the pack. Itching her head against the side of the box she waited until they were released.

Molly's box had been flipped over and she was stuck on her head, trying her best not to move about. If the box wasn't opened soon, all the blood would shoot to her head if it wasn't there already.

Arron watched the man leave, then went directly to Augustine's crate, picking up a crowbar as he went and pried the crate open. He moved on quickly to Molly's, opening it so the two alpha's would be free first. He pressed his fingers to his lips at them, then pointed to himself, then Natale's crate, gesturing that he was going to take Natale and let the other two deal with the rest.

Augustine got out and was very tempted to crack his neck, but he knew that would be a dumb ass idea. He stretched a little and waited for Molly.

Molly's feet were sticking out of the box since she was turned upside down. Awkwardly, she pulled herself out and adjusted her hair. Reaching into the box she had just crawled out of, she yanked up a jug of gasoline. She looked to Natale before the two left, "Where are the laboratories again?" she asked in a loud whisper.

Natale blinked once he was back in the light. He looked around, getting his barrings. "That way," he whispered back, pointing to a door.

Hearing the other voices beyond the wood slats of her box Mercie knocked several times, hoping she wouldn't be forgotten.

Arron turned to Mercie's crate and popped the top off, then did the same to Lakota's. "We'll get going, then," he mouthed to Molly as he helped Lakota from her crate. Arron gestured his head at Natale.

Mercie gulped in a few deep breaths of fresh air finally free from her box. She quickly climbed out, glad to be free.

Lakota squeezed Arron's hand, silently telling him to be careful. Moving over to Mercie she helped her steady herself and smiled. "Ready?"

Molly nodded, "Meet you back here in an hour, tops. And keep your radio on channel 3" she said to Natale and Arron. At the moment, Mercie was the one with their group's radio. Molly looked at another box that they had brought in, she opened it with her nails and grabbed another jug of gasoline. "Here." she gave one to Augustine.

Mercie bent down to grab her backpack and slung it around her shoulders,. She'd only had time to make one that would fit while she was in wolf form as well as human, but it was filled with all sorts of useful things. She shook her arms out for a second and with a deep breath replied "Ready."

Looking around for a moment, Arron quickly gave Lakota a kiss on the cheek before heading in the direction of the master computer. He waved at Natale to follow to the door. Arron's camera bag was stuffed with all the tech equipment they would need since it would stay on him in wolf form as well.

Augustine took the gasoline, itching to kill again. During the planning, he had gotten his hands on a few guns... illegally of course. Normally, he thought guns were unfair, a cowardly human weapon. Now, however, he was way to pissed at these people to care.

Being in this building was nearly overwhelming for Natale. The familiar smells and sounds... He felt his heart quake. When Arron waved him forwards, he hesitated before he followed.

Molly and the others ran down a different corridor, towards the laboratories. The plan was to ignite the labs. Since they were in the center of the compound, the fires would hopefully spread outwards. Not to mention that they also held various hazardous chemicales themselves, making the eruption even more deadly.

Mercie gave a thumbs up to everyone else before following Natale and Aaron. She was sure to keep a sharp eye out behind them.

Making his way towards the computer room, Arron pulled the improvised taser he had made from a camera flash out of his camera bag. He hped that he wouldn't have to use it, but with these humans, you never really knew. He nodded back at Natale and Mercie, gesturing for Natale to take the lead.

Natale nodded and nervously made his way forwards. He crouched under the little windows on the doors they passed until they came to the last room in the hall. He glanced inside and beckoned the other wolves forwards.

Arron moved into the room, holding up a hand to keep Mercie back until he was in. Glancing around quickly, he nodded back at Natale and Mercie.

"Come on..." Molly gestured to Augustine and Lakota as they headed down the corridor. Luckily, they hadn't seen a camera just yet.

Lakota glanced over at Augustine and then followed after Molly. Glancing around she stuck her hands in her pockets. She had brought a few syringes of sleeping toxins. Hopefully she wouldn't need to use him.

After the group came to one of the labs, Molly sniffed at the door. "Smells clear." She placed a hand on it and opened it gently, just to make sure. Gesturing to follow, she headed in.

Lakota kept close to Molly, glancing around. She wished Molly would allow her to go into the rooms first but she wouldn't hear of it.

"Here." Molly passed off the jug of gasoline to Lakota. "This stuff has to be flammable right?" she looked around at the hundreds of bottles of fluids. "Screw it, just dump some if that crap!"

Grabbing a-hold of the gasoline, Lakota began to pour it everywhere. Unscrewing a few of the empty bottles she poured a bit of gasoline in those as well. "That should be good."

"Alright. Gah! It stinks..." Molly held her nose, looking to the door. "Come on...leave a little trail from this room to the next. Glancing at Augustine, she grabbed the gas out of his hands. "If your not going to do anything- let me!" she warned. You don't want to piss off a pregnant wolf. She led the group out into the hall and poured a small trail into the next room.

Mercie followed after Natale as they ventured into the room. She had one hand poised at the back of her pants where she'd hidden one of her improvised smoke bombs.

Just then, a man on patrol walked down the hall and noticed someone go into one of the rooms. "Hmm?" he hummed to himself and headed for it.
